what happens to my data if i cancel or downgrade?

Your data is not deleted. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep paid features until that date. Brands, prompts, history, and team members all stay in place. If you re-subscribe later, everything is right where you left it.
Cancel vs downgrade vs deactivate
- **Cancel** stops the whole subscription at the end of the current period. The team then reverts to base limits, but your data is preserved.
- **Downgrade** turns off higher-tier features at the next billing cycle and credits the prorated difference. If you have more brands active than the lower plan allows (say 10 on Scale, dropping to Growth's 1), Trakkr blocks the change until you deactivate brands or buy enough extra-brand packs to cover the gap. The plan-change screen tells you exactly what is blocking.
- **Deactivate a brand** frees its plan slot but keeps its history and your subscription intact. Inactive brands do not count toward your limit.
If a payment fails
Trakkr keeps your plan active during a 7-day grace period while Stripe retries the card, with email warnings ahead of the cutoff. After 7 days the account moves to past-due and paid features pause until the card is updated. Manage all of this from Settings → Billing.
