one of my prompts shows zero mentions, is it broken?

No. A prompt with zero mentions is not broken, it is telling you that AI does not name you on that question. That is one of the most useful things Trakkr can show you, because it points directly at what to fix next.

How to read an empty prompt

  • It means the model answered the question without recommending you, often because the sources it trusts on that topic do not mention you.
  • It is the cleanest definition of a gap. You now know exactly which question to go win.

What to do about it

  1. Open the prompt and check which **competitors** did appear, so you know who is winning that answer.
  2. Look at the **citations** for that prompt. Those are the pages the model read. Getting mentioned on the sources it trusts is the most direct lever.
  3. If the question is not actually one your buyers ask, deactivate it and track a better one.

A prompt that never produces a mention but is genuinely important to your category is a priority, not a defect. The point of tracking it is to make it stop being empty.
