Historical policy
No historical ranking without comparable evidence
This page explains what happened to older ranking URLs. It does not publish a historical table because the current public feed does not provide a complete comparable time series.
[01]Archive status
Policy page, not a ranking dataset
This archive is marked noindex and emits no ranking or dataset schema. It will become a dated archive only when every published period has a known method, sample, update date and complete rows.
[02]How legacy URLs are treated
Valuable category URLs
Selected old `/rankings/industry/...` URLs move to the matching current `/rankings/category/...` page, within the rankings product.
Thin or irrelevant categories
Categories outside the curated set consolidate to the rankings hub instead of becoming thousands of near-empty pages.
Brand and comparison directories
Legacy brand, agency, investor, sector and pair-comparison routes consolidate to the rankings hub. The current product does not claim evidence for those page types.
Insufficient current categories
A category route can explain why it failed, but it is marked noindex and emits no ranking schema until the live evidence passes.
[03]When a historical table can publish
- Every period has a real source date and no future-dated records.
- The scoring method and model coverage are comparable, or the break is clearly labelled.
- Each period passes the same minimum sample, uniqueness and measurement checks as a current page.
- Missing periods stay missing. They are never estimated or backfilled without source observations.
- Movement is calculated only between comparable published observations.
