Profound for Agencies: Pricing, Client Reporting and Fit

Choose Profound when clients expect a sophisticated AEO program, pitch audits, executive reporting, and enterprise controls. Its independent workspaces and promotion path from pitch to active client fit an agency sales cycle well.

Avoid it when the service is a low-cost reporting add-on or when a native agency-branded portal is essential. The per-client workspace model can consume margin quickly, and the public evidence does not show a fully rebranded client experience.

Profound’s agency launch material says Agency Growth includes five agency seats and 10 pitch workspaces per month. The current pricing page lists Agency Growth at $99 per month, and each active client workspace is a $399 monthly add-on with 100 prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, plus 400 Agent credits. Five extra trial workspaces cost $199 per month.

Enterprise is quote required. Use it when you need broader engine coverage, API access, SSO, custom limits, or organization-level Workflows, Content, and Agent Analytics. Ask Profound to state the base subscription, client-workspace count, pitch-workspace allowance, overages, contract term, and data-retention terms in one quote.

Five active client workspaces on Agency Growth imply $2,094 per month: the $99 base plus five $399 workspaces. Over 12 months that is $25,128 before taxes, extra trial workspaces, Enterprise features, or negotiated terms. The pricing page does not say whether Agency Growth is billed monthly or annually. This is arithmetic from published prices, not a Profound quote.

At 20 or 50 clients, public self-serve arithmetic stops being a useful procurement answer. Ask for an Enterprise agency quote and compare the effective cost per active client, prompt, engine, region, and deliverable.

Pitch workspaces can be generated from client context or a CSV prompt upload, then promoted to long-running client workspaces. Profound says generated pitch data usually takes 24 to 48 hours, and uploaded prompts can also take about 48 hours to show data. Expired pitches retain read-only history and can be reactivated.

Growth provides CSV and JSON exports. Enterprise adds API access and stronger security. Agency teams should test whether client stakeholders can consume the native reports directly or whether an agency-owned reporting layer is needed for branding, commentary, and access control.

Native white-label reporting, a custom client domain, and a client-only portal are not publicly documented. Public material also says some Enterprise modules are configured at the organization level and visible across client and pitch workspaces, so agencies should review role boundaries with Profound before exposing access.

The exact Agency Growth base fee, current pitch-pack price, bulk workspace discounts, overage rules, and minimum contract are not all stated in one current public plan card. Treat those as quote items, not assumptions.
