Documents
Documents turns your brand's tracked data into a report you can finish and share. Choose a monthly client report, executive summary, competitor briefing, internal memo or board update. Each document keeps its drafts, published versions and linked figures together.
Documents is available on enabled brands. Generating wording needs a paid plan. Brand editors and owners can create and edit; readers can view documents they have access to. Client portal access is separate and never grants access to private drafts.
Create a useful first draft
Open Documents in the Agent workspace and choose New document. The Reports page also has a Create document shortcut.
- Choose the report type and a completed month. The coverage preview shows what was measured. A missing month needs recorded data before it can be used.
- Choose the sections, audience and length. Explain what the reader needs to decide and add your preferred tone.
- Add context the data cannot know: work completed, business changes, constraints or priorities. Optionally include work marked complete in Actions during that month.
- Choose Build draft. Sections appear as they finish. You can leave the page and return to the saved document.
Tracked movement and work completed are different kinds of evidence. Including completed Actions gives the report context; it does not establish that those actions caused a score to change.
Review and edit
Read the coverage line, then inspect the linked figures in the report. Measured figures come from the selected month's data. Missing data stays visible, and a number you type yourself is labelled as supplied by the author.
Edit the wording, rename or reorder sections, or add a section with your own context. The section menu lets you shorten or rewrite one section without rebuilding the whole document. Refreshing figures preserves the source period. A new month's report starts a new draft.
If generation is interrupted, choose Resume draft. Completed sections remain saved. If two people edit the same section, a stale edit is rejected so it cannot silently replace a newer one.
Publish a version
Choose Publish version when the draft is ready. Unfinished sections and wording carried into a new period must be finished or reviewed first.
Publication freezes that version's report. To make further changes, choose Edit a new draft. Version history lets you read previous versions and compare changes. An older unpublished draft remains editable.
Publishing does not email the report or make it visible in the client portal. Choose the delivery method after publication.
Download or share
The document menu offers PDF, Word and Markdown downloads. Draft downloads are marked as drafts. Exported tables preserve the figures used in charts. Word keeps editable headings, text, lists and tables.
Share report creates a link to a published version. Pin a client report so the link keeps the version you sent. You can add a password, choose an expiry, or revoke a link later. A link that follows the current version changes when you publish again.
For email delivery, use a pinned link and choose a recipient. Review the sender, subject and email preview before choosing Send report. A retry does not send a second copy of the same delivery. If delivery is unconfirmed, check the delivery history before attempting a new send. Send a password separately when the link is protected.
Agency reports use the agency's configured branding. Agency email delivery requires a verified agency sender. Client portal readers only see documents explicitly made visible to them. If the portal's export permission allows it, they can print a document or save it as a PDF.
Reuse the report next month
Enable monthly recurrence to receive an update offer when the next completed month has enough data. It creates a draft when you choose to build it. It does not automatically publish or email anything.
The new draft carries your structure and wording forward, resolves the new month's figures, and marks wording for review. Check that comparisons and recommendations still make sense before publishing.
Save a document as a template to reuse its structure and writing preferences. You can choose a template from another brand you can access. Client context and custom context sections are excluded, and the new report reads the destination brand's figures.
Turn the report into work
Choose Plan next steps from this report to take its recommendations into the Agent conversation. The request asks the Agent to check existing Actions for duplicates and propose a prioritised plan for review. The report itself does not create or complete Actions.
The library lets an agency work across accessible brands, search reports, find updates due, and filter drafts, published documents and templates. Archive finished work to keep the active list useful; restore it when you need it again.
